Catalytic active filter material – MGF
In 2000 experts of “Alians-Neva” think tank company have developed innovating technology catalytic active filtering material manufacture. As MGF distinct from import manufacture filters have become effective work while purifying water iron concentration up to 50 mg/l, manganese up to 2 mg/l. Effective purifying functions is rather effective in low pH characteristics, besides prior correction for purifying is not required.
Primary product have become sedimentary rocks that includes minerals composite AL, Ca, Fe, Mn, Si. Special mechanochemical and thermochemical processing with subsequent chemical modification allows to obtain granulated, porous material, divergent developed specific surface area and contains in its vesicles superfine catalytic active manganese dioxide.
MGF distinctive features
- MGF – granulated composition material. Has catalytic activity under metal and manganese oxidation response being dissolved in water by oxidants as oxygen, ozone or sodium hydrochloride.
- MGF - granulated composition material that deters in its intergranular area iron and manganese hydrolysate subjected to oxidation.
MGF test results
- Water from confined well with character for the most Russian regions water contamination: iron - 20 mg/l, manganese - 2 mg/l and pH level = 6 is purified by MGF applying air oxygen as oxidant.
- Consequently purifying the iron level made - 0,1 mg/l, manganese - 0/01 mg/l, pH amounted to equal 7.6.
- MGF effectively removes solute in water manganese (concentration up to 2 mg/l) and iron (concentration within the range 50mg/l) on the assumption of pH less than 6,0, high carbonic acid content and low integrity.
- Due to MGF unique filter medium it neutralize dissolved in water acid with efficiency 80-90%.
- Besides water purifying, MGF keeps pH level in filtered water optimal for potable water range - 6,5-8,5.
- MGF is nonreceptive to rest chlorine.
- MGF is nonreceptive anionic field.
- MGF effectively removes from original water heavy metal salts such as: Al, Br, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn.
- MGF purifies water of organic pollutions such as: remnant fulvic acids and humates.
- MGF purifies water of hydrogen sulfide.
- MGF does not compresses even 100% filling intergranular space with hydrolysate.
- MGF has similar chemical and basic structure all grain volume that meets active stable characteristics even by abrasion.
